To Play, See And Be Among The Stars Los Angeles, CA

ABOUT THE PROGRAM - “GREEK GIVES BACK”

The Greek Theatre along with the City of Los Angeles, Department of Recreation and Parks (RAP) has created an exciting opportunity for communities throughout Los Angeles for youth to experience one of the city’s most treasured and historical music venues.

Through this program, entitled “Greek Gives Back,” youth from ages 14 - 18 will be given the unique opportunity to enter a contest and compete for a chance to win a Concert Career Day Experience that includes tickets to a live concert at the Greek Theatre as well as a meet-and-greet with venue staff where they will learn about the various career paths offered in the entertainment industry. Although the program is curated to high school students who want to pursue a career in this industry, all contestants must be an active participant in their local Los Angeles Recreation Facility or Center as this is specifically designed to assist youth in our Parks Programs.

In order to participate, entrants will develop and submit a multimedia project (Film Production or Visual Arts) along with an essay to be graded and judged by our committee of RAP staff and officials. There will be one (1) winner chosen from each Council District (15 total) who will be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout their time at the Greek Theatre.

Entries will be accepted beginning June 13th, 2022 through August 15th, 2022.
